BLOG 17 - China, Part 2

China’s Economic Problems: China’s critically low minimum wage and standard of living makes it extremely difficult for China’s native population to be able to buy substantial quantities of its native goods, or for China to be able to import very much from other countries. Questions for Consideration:

• What will happen if the world goes into an economic tailspin and other countries drastically cut back their imports of Chinese goods?
• What will happen if China’s government can’t feed its masses, or if a serious natural calamity hits the country and the government can’t or won’t solve it?
• China is one of the major polluters of the earth today and doesn’t want to be hampered in its quest to become a major industrial power (as the U. S. did unfettered in the 1800’s and early 1900’s). How will this attitude impact their country?
• Predict the impact of China’s recent trade problems (i.e., lead paint in toys, contaminated food products, etc.) on trade relations between China and other countries such as the United States.

In the 1800s Chinese immigrants during that time, their population began to fall drastically.

Early 1900's, China, was in the middle of a political turmoil as it was undergoing fundamental changes in politics.

• What will happen if the world goes into an economic tailspin and other countries drastically cut back their imports of Chinese goods?

i believe China will save and have more goods , but that would result in the usa losing major imports , but then many countries might try to have a war with China due to their lack of sharing.

• What will happen if China’s government can’t feed its masses, or if a serious natural calamity hits the country and the government can’t or won’t solve it?

its kind of common sense in my opinion i believe many will migrate to the USA, this would probably result to us americans lose our jobs.

• China is one of the major polluters of the earth today and doesn’t want to be hampered in its quest to become a major industrial power (as the U. S. did unfettered in the 1800’s and early 1900’s). How will this attitude impact their country?

i velieve the attitude of the chinese would be poor because that then leads to standard of living and in my opinion i believe this will also make more chinese migrate.

Due to nucleur plants exploding alot of radiation has affected their plants and vegestablea and im pretty sure the usa receive items like that from china so im predicting it might be a outbreak of a couple citizens dying in the usa due to china imports.

I think that will happen is that our economy and world will have scarcity , bacause people are not receiving the things they need. And also we wont have any money.

• What will happen if China’s government can’t feed its masses, or if a serious natural calamity hits the country and the government can’t or won’t solve it?
I think that China cant feed its masses then some people will go hungry and die, and also people will migrate over here. They will also ask us for money. I think that China have a clamity like a disaese or a deep diaster then again people will die and also we would have to fly people down their to treat sick people. Then Chinese people will kill each other off for survival.

• China is one of the major polluters of the earth today and doesn’t want to be hampered in its quest to become a major industrial power (as the U. S. did unfettered in the 1800’s and early 1900’s). How will this attitude impact their country?
This attitiude will impact their country because their attitude is just saying that they dont care about people or their lives or even our world.

• Predict the impact of China’s recent trade problems (i.e., lead paint in toys, contaminated food products, etc.) on trade relations between China and other countries such as the United States.

I think that if China keep making these mistakes like lead in toys and contaminated food then they are going to kill us, beacuse they keeo shipping that stuff over here. One day they'll ship over an disease.

If this was to happen the us wouldnt know what to do. Our economy would calapse completely, and and we would have to start new factories here in the us ..

• What will happen if China’s government can’t feed its masses, or if a serious natural calamity hits the country and the government can’t or won’t solve it?
The us would suffer drastically .. because China would probably soon Stop supporting the us to help their own country ..

• China is one of the major polluters of the earth today and doesn’t want to be hampered in its quest to become a major industrial power (as the U. S. did unfettered in the 1800’s and early 1900’s). How will this attitude impact their country?
That kind of attitude will get china nowhere. Their country could suffer with all of that pollution. The chinese people could really start to het sick .. pollution is not good :(

• Predict the impact of China’s recent trade problems (i.e., lead paint in toys, contaminated food products, etc.) on trade relations between China and other countries such as the United States.
If that continues to happen .. other countries would probably be angry but i doubt if they would ever cut china off completely .

• What will happen if the world goes into an economic tailspin and other countries drastically cut back their imports of Chinese goods?

*Most of every product/good we get/buy/trade from China, we would have to give back. We also may be forced to do different things like start new buisnesses or go to other countries because of the fact that we are in dept with China. If this was to happen, there would probably be many push and pull factors all around the world.

• What will happen if China’s government can’t feed its masses, or if a serious natural calamity hits the country and the government can’t or won’t solve it?

*If that was to happen, many people probably would die because of starving. Many people would probably began to fight and kill eachother to survive. People would probably start to kill many animals also for food. Again, if that was to happen, many people wouldn't know what to do, they couldn't look to natural resources because as of today, we are using 150% of natural resources on earth, we may almost be out of natural resources!

• China is one of the major polluters of the earth today and doesn’t want to be hampered in its quest to become a major industrial power (as the U. S. did unfettered in the 1800’s and early 1900’s). How will this attitude impact their country?

*Since China is one of the major polluters of the earth today, many people in China will eventually die, because of so much pollution in the air that will combine together and maybe make create diseases, or different chemicals that cause death; because many and many people will continue polluting and it will get to a point where its a problem!

• Predict the impact of China’s recent trade problems (i.e., lead paint in toys, contaminated food products, etc.) on trade relations between China and other countries such as the United States.

*China may continue to make these mistakes but the people who trade will not let it become a problem where our people will be in danger.

China will get out of control and they will keep trying to get the government to help them.

How will this attitude impact their country? The might get very angry, because the impact will keep trying to get bigger and bigger.

Predict the impact of China's recent trade problems on trade relation between China and other countries such as the United States? I really dont think there be any problems because the U.S gets everything from china and is very good to the U.S so to me there wont be no problems.
