Read the MSNBC article: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/39017234/ns/us_news/ about a high school in the midst racially charged problems. After reading discuss:
1. The majority of the instigators were black, the victims were Asian. Does the ethnic background of the perpetrator or victim diminish or enhance the problems in the story? Would your response be the same if the "perps" were white and the victims were black? - or vice versa???
2. Is this a racial or economic issue? Are the two issue confused or intertwined?
3. Why is racial bias still an issue?

I hate racism. I think its very wrong because people dont understand how bad they hurt the other persons feelings. RACISM NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!!!!!!!
Racism is a very bad thing happening in schools daily. I think there is no reason to have racism.
i think that racism is a very bad thing. it should never be racis towards each other. it should not matter about what kind of community you come from.
I think racism is very bad. Racism shouldn't be around any more but it is,we are all the same in the inside we all hearts, if one person get hurt or cut we will
always bleed the same color blood no matter what.
I think that the ethnic background does enhance the problem because because they think just because the kids are not from there that they can just get treated anyway. I would respond the same if it was black kids and whites kids not matter what its not fair. I think that this is a racial and a issue problem because it have to do with both of them. The racial bias is still an issue because it gone happen everywhere and i dont think that racial is going to stop.
