CURRENT EVENTS - Hurricane Katrina - 5 Years Later

These articles from the Wall Street Journal: http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748703882304575465460710758270.html and Associated Content: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/2809816/hurricane_katrina_five_year_anniversary.html discuss the ebb and flow of rebuilding. Reflect on your thoughts regarding the US efforts to rebuild New Orleans (the city that sustained the most damage).

I highly recommend watching Spike Lee's When the Levees Broke and the follow up: If God is Willing and Da Creek Don't Rise (http://www.hbo.com/documentaries/index.html#/documentaries/when-the-levees-broke-a-requiem-in-four-acts)

Hurricane Katrina happpened five years ago and, I think that the president could've done something as soon as it happened. New Orleans should be near fixed right now. People should have homes, the oil should be near gone. New Orleans she be clean, but it not. The presidents are focusing on everywhere but the place thats down the street, their concerned about what happened in Chile` I'm not saying that their not important and they do need help, but you have to help your own before you help everyone else
