Section 4.2 - US/Canada/Greenland

Go to Getty Images and type an event (ex. Columbine, Hurricane Katrina, or 9/11) in American History in the search bar to retrieve images from that event. Post a link to that image and discuss why that event was so significant in American History. How did that event change or influence our culture?

The 2010 earthquake was a magnitude
7.0Mw earthquake. The earthquake occurred at 16:53 local time (21.53UTC) on Tuesday,12 january 2010. By the 24th of january at least 52 aftershocks come out to be 4.5 greater had been recorded. 3 million people was affected by the quake also the groverment reported as 230,000 people had died 300,000 had been injured and 1,000,000 made homeless.....

The event i am going to talk about is the 2003 European heat wave. This was an very unexpected event. The reason i say this is becomes homes in the European region are mostly built for the cold.There was at least 14,802 deaths in France alone. This event took many lives due to the heat.
