Unit 4 - The World
Read this BBC article about Queen Elizabeth and Facebook. Should royalty (or in our case, presidents) participate in social networking? Please defend your answer.
Yes I strongly believe that royalty (or in our case, presidents) should participate in social networking. I say that because it is a way to connect to the digital world. If they want to create a "facebook" page to inform people whats going on in the world, it is there choice they're actually helping people such as teens, teens spend more time on the computer then reading the news papers,and I know if I had add her or put her in a group I would be informed on whats happening outside the United States and since I have Current Events I would actually be doing my homework on Facebook, it is a way for people to be more informed. I think it's pretty cool for presidents or royalty to connect with the internet such as facebook or bebo it can be helpful for all ages .
Yes!!! I think they should because what if they wonted to connect with other people but dont have a way to talk to them. I think they should do it if they wonted more information how to make better rules and help more people with their problems. If she did get one I would add her and tell her every thing that she can do and what the people want.
yes I think that royalty or the presidents should articipate in social networking because it would be more people that would really know what is going on with the world. There would be more young people that would look and be more inform what is going on.
no wha happen if he tells the wrong person something very important to are nation that the other countrys will try to attack use with.or they might say the wrong thing on facebook that will hurt there vote
Yes I do think taht royalty can participate in social networking. Thhis is a free country we have the right to express or opinnions how we want to. Just because she is royalty doesnt mean she cannot. She has to give information out and say what she wants to. She can proabably buy facebook.For Facebook there reallly isnt an age limit. I knoe third graders with facebooks. And to say that a president cannot isnt right.
It isnt like they are putting personal infomation on there. People making it like they but when they start doing that that's when they dont need it. So no I dont think it is a bad ideal to have any social networking site because,they are making updates on what's bout to happen back in the UK.
I think that anyone who wants to do socail networking should do it. They are people just like we are. I think facebook, is safer for them, then for us. we cant visit their profile, so they should do whatever they want to do. Facebook was made for them just like it was made for us.
