KU Experience
What did you learn on your field trip? What are the requirements to attend the school? What majors are available?
The field trip to KU made me look at school different. I know that i will have to work hard to be able to go to kansas or any other big D1 colleges. I would have to have at least a 2.5 gpa to get in to Ku. Also i know that i will have to major in something that will get me somewhere like sport medicine. Since i went on the trip to KU i know how serious school is. This is Vernon
the field trip at ku influnced me to reconize that there are other options than to play around in school and not get good grades and that its better to get a scholar ship than to pay all that money and that if i play on the basketball track or volleyball team i can get paid. -lonnezhia
On Our KU feild trip I learned that college is going to be rough but do not give up. Some requirements to attend KU is you need to have a high GPA which is a 3.5 or a 4.0. You also need to score a high ACT score such as a 26 or higher. Some majors that are available is Engineering, Architecture, Aerospace engineering, and Global and International Studies. My experience at KU will be something I will never forget.
On the KU trip i learned about why KU and MU have rivals against one another and also how KU is not as bad as i thought it would be. Also he requirements- you have to have atleast have one of the three, a Gpa ranging to an 3.5-4.o, A high Act Score, And I kinda forgot the other one. But anyway there will be alot of majors, for instance- science, engineering,Architecture, law, nursing and doctor majors and also much much more. But all in all the KU trip was better than I thought it would be. -Nadiyah
I think the field trip was okay. the school was nice and big but i don't think its for me. Some requirements to attend KU is you need to have a high GPA which is at least a 2.5 or a 3.5. You also need to score a high on ACT score such as a 24 or higher.
ps. i liked the field trip but the women who was talking to us about the school had a bad attitude.
What I learned from my field trip is that college is expensive! You have to want it and learn how to teach your self. The requirements to attend school is a high gpa and sat score. The majors that are available are forsensic science and ap honors language arts. To prepare for college you need to know what you want to be and have a high gpa and sat act score.
On the KU field trip i learned if you you have at least a 3.25 GPA on a 4.0 scale, you can apply for academic scholarships. I also learned your not going to have teachers on you telling you to go to class or that your going to be late, your making your on decisons. You need to be perpared for remembering to study and 5 or more page papers in partial classes.
On the KU field trip I learned that collage housing is very expensive but I already knew that collage life was crazy but just not that expensive to live there but also I learned that If I want to go to to that school I need to heave a high GPA and a high ACT score then I would be able to go there I also learned that Ku is really not for me because of the majors they offer they have majors such as music, arts, engineering but what I want to study was just a side course so Yeah Ku is not for me.
On the KU field trip I learned that i am going to have to work alot harder because if i dont i might not make it to the college i want to. I learned that its going to be hard but i cant give up. I also learned that to attend KU you have to have at least a 3.5 gpa and you have to score high. This field trip to KU made me look at school different.
on the trip i learned all about everything you have to do and have to have to get into a college like ku. your gpa has to be a 3.3 just to look into scholar ships. you have to have at least a 2.5 to get and a act score of 24.they also have a major in almost everything. there school is one of the top ranked in sports also.
on the field trip i learned that if you are not serious in your freshman year it will be hard for you to be accepted into colleges especially for engineering. Another thing i learned was to take all of your test seriously because if you don't it will be on your transcript through college.
I didn't go on the field trip because I didn't turn in my permission slip, but I can tell you what I need to do to start preparing for college. I need to : start studying harder, reading more, and I need to study more on the career that I'm going to college for.
I think trip to Ku was an good thing for freshman because now we know how to be prepared and what are the requirements are and its going to push me and hopefully my classmates to go to college and get and good education. The requirements to go to ku are that you have have a mininum gpa of 2.5 and have an 24 or higher on they act.
I think that on our KU trip i learned that it is not going to be easy in college nd what it take to get in to this college is at least a 3.5 or better thats if yu wont to get in to the college and the best you need too get on the ACT is a 27 out of a 36 thats what it take to get in this college it is not as easy to get in to college and a another thing that i have learned is they dont watch over you, you got to be responsiable at all times or you will not be there that long.
I think our KU trip was kinda cool and I learned alot of things in that college. I learned that a chemical engineering get paid over $55,000 dollars. Another thing I learned is that when you graduate, you get to walk down a hill for your last year at KU. Some requirements are having a grade points average of 2.52 and your ACT have to be at least 24 or higher and a 36 is a perfect. If you have good grades but a bad ACT score, they will give you a chance at KU. What I need to do to prepared for college is having good grades to play sports like football and a GREAT ACT to get into college and by taking Advance classes in high school.
My expierence at KU was great I enjoyed being out of school for a day and doing something interesting and now I'm considering KU as a College of choice.
My experience at KU was great because now I know about the rivalry between Kansas and Missouri. Missouri has a better football team than Kansas. But Kansas has a better basketball team than Missouri. I am considering KU as the college of my choice and I advise other people to consider Kansas as the college of you choice.
KU was a really nice experiance and i know all of the things that i need to do to get into college but i really dont care if they have all of those things MIZZOU is still my college of choice
I did not go to KU ... but I believe the requirements and things I need to get into KU or get ready for KU would have to be getting good grades, be focused during high school, and be motivated.
what i had learned from my field trip to K.U. is that college is important and you should do your best to make it to college. you have to have a 2.5 or higher to manger in anything. you have to do your best in high school so that you can find a good college to go to.
