What the World Eats
Ever thought about eating bugs? It's not as weird as you think - people have done it for generations. Read this article from National Geographic. How does the information presented in this article relate to culture?
It relates to culture because if you did not eat bugs it wld not be much you could eat. Back then they did not have as much as we have to eat and they had to eat that to survie. So if i had to eat that to live i would but i have never thought to eat a bug.
I think that eating bugs can be healthy, but can also be very nasty. Today we eat animals which probably carry diseases too. I never have tried eating bugs but if I were on a show I might eat as many as I could.
No I haven't ever thought about eaten bugs because it looks nasty and probly is nasty. It relates to culture because some people eat bugs for dinner and maybe everyday. It might be someones tradition to eat bugs.
No I have never ever thought about eating bugs ever in my life. If some people in their culture eat bugs then thats what they do but I never thouhgt as eating bugs a thing that you would have to do. I think that the information in this article is realeted to culture because in my culture we eat chicken and in theirs they eat bugs. If it was good then I would try it.
It relates to culture because every one is different. the way we were raised was that bugs are not what you eat! Asia and other places used to eat the bugs such as: grasshopers, beetles etc... The way they are is different from the way my culture is..
I think this relates to culture because if there is not anything else to eat but bugs then what are you going to do starve yourself. I feel if I need something to eat then what ever is around me is going to be aten up no matter what it is. JUST NOT NOTHING REALLY DISGUSTING!

they probally beloive they have too, it may seem nasty to people down here to eat bugs, but in that place some of the stuff we eat may seem wierd to us. its like different perspectives.
I think eating bugs are apart of Greek culture because as the article said back then Romans love to eat insect with wine and flour us American think of it as if it is nasty but i bet even in other country people think that eating cow and chicken is nasty but thats just apart of our culture some people used to survive of bugs
I think this article relates to culture because culture consists of learned ways of acting, feeling and thinking, rather than biologically determined ways. This means that just because they eat bugs doesn't mean they aren't apart of your culture because when people grow up they learn different things than others do. So eating bugs for many people is like eating fried chicken like we do and they might think fried chicken is nasty because its a chicken. Eating bugs was probably how some people was raised and what they needed to do to survive. For example, eating is a biological need. But what people eat, when and how they eat, and how food is prepared differ from culture to culture. So yes I think eating bugs is related to culture. :))
I think bugs relate to culture because eatting bugs may have been pass down to our generation from the Romans. And now some people might eat bugs for health problems and other problems if needed. Even though we might not notice that bugs fly in our food everyday, personally i would not eat a bug by its self.
I think the food that people eat has to do with culture. This reason i think that is because in different parts of the world they eat different things. Like i eat pork some people dont. This is vernon
I think it has alot to do with culture because our culture in america is to eat whats cooked && somewhere elsa they have to eat whats available such as bugs.
