1. Identify if tensions between Israelis and Palestinians stem from religious tensions, land ownership, or colonial/ Western interference. The struggle between Israelis and Palestinians goes back to ancient times, when the ancient Israelites lived in and around Palestine and fought many wars with their neighbors. In a sense, the current conflict is an extension of those religious wars. But the modern conflict has its roots in modern times, specifically in the disintregation of a vast empire.

2. How and why does culture play a role in cooperation and conflict in the region?"The role of Israeli and Palestinian environmental non-governmental organizations in the Middle East: peace-building specificity between Israelis and Palestinians."

3. Why is Jerusalem so important to both the Arabs and the Jews?Jerusalem is holy to Jews, Christians and Muslims but it is a Palestinian city according to international law.

4. Why is culture a barrier between Israelis and the Palestinians? Because Palestinians believe they should be killing Jews/Israelis, and Jews/Israelis believe they should be expelling the Palestinians from Israel

5. How do cultural characteristics define Jerusalem? Cultural Characteristics- Those aspects or characteristics which identify a culture. Jerusalem- city in and the capital of Israel: an ancient holy city and a center of pilgrimage for Jews,Christians, and Muslims; divided between Israel and Jordan 1948–67.

6. Is it possible to draft a peace accord between Israel and Palestinian people? Why have other attempts failed? PEACE AGREEMENT between the State of Israel and the Palestine Liberation Organization, the Representative of the Palestinian People. Both parties wish to end the historical conflict between them, establish peace and bring about a historical conciliation between the two nations,And both parties wish to base the peace on the principles of self-determination, mutual respect, justice and equality,
both parties acknowledge the principle of "two states for two nations",And both parties accept U.N. resolutions 242, 338 and 194 as the basis for a solution and regard the implementation of the agreement below as the full realization of these resolutions.
They have no attempt to fail the BOTH agreed.

It is still possible to draft a peace accord. All the other attemps failed because The resolution was accepted by Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, but rejected by Syria until 1972-1973, also Israel refused to enter negotiations with Egypt based on the Rogers peace plan.

Identify if tensions between Israelis and Palestinians stem from religious tensions, land ownership, or colonial/ Western interference: This war between the two countrys have been going on for years. They have faught many battles and wars. They have been fighting over land, freedom, and religion. Fighting a never ending war is what they are doing.

The tensions for this conflict was to land ownership between the two:

The main problem is neither of the settlements have government. They differenciate because they are two sperate places that wont to take over each other. Having different mindsets plays a big role.

Why is Jerusalem so important to both the Arabs and the Jews?

Its so important to them because,it is holy or superior to them.

Why is culture a barrier between Israelis and the Palestinians?

Both places feel as if they a better than each other. They wont to take over each other.
How do cultural characteristics define Jerusalem?
Cultural characteristics define Jerusalem because they are a culture.

Is it possible to draft a peace accord between Israel and Palestinian people? Why have other attempts failed?

It is always possible, it is never to late. It always failed because the countrys always reject it. they feel as if they have a point to prove.
